Rental Program FAQ’s

What it is: The Rent-to-own program is a system put in place that allows you to purchase a new or used item in store, and make monthly payments to “rent” the item until the original amount is met, at
which point you are done renting and making payments because you own it!

What can I rent?: You can rent anything that you purchase within our store! (As long as it meets the minimum purchase amount of $250) This means you can have your dream appliance, computer, television, sound system, and anything else you purchase through us TODAY!

What about my credit?: No credit, bad credit? No problem! Here at El-Genes we utilize an in-house financing solution that does not affect your credit score. First we perform a light background check to make sure that you are not a wanted axe-murderer. Second, we check your past rental history with us to make sure you are in good standing to rent. If both of these requirements are met, then you are set to rent!

OK what’s the catch?: No catch! Our Rental program does not have hidden interest rates that can change behind your back. For every rental there is a flat fee (referred to as a service charge) that is included in your monthly payment. Every month this service charge is applied regardless if you make your monthly payment. Simply put, as long as you make your payments on time each month you will not pay extra service charges, and you will be on the fast track to ownership.
